Before you book

What to expect at your first medical consultation

4 min read

A first consultation at GioSkin is a medical appointment, not a sales meeting. It lasts around 45 minutes and follows the same structure whether you arrive with a specific concern or simply a general interest in skin health.

Medical history

We review any relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments and lifestyle factors. This is standard clinical practice and directly informs what is — and isn't — safe to recommend.

Skin assessment

A structured visual and tactile assessment of your skin: quality, elasticity, hydration, pigmentation, texture, vascular features and dynamic movement. We photograph consistently for baseline records if you wish.

Planning conversation

We discuss what you'd like to change, what you'd like to preserve, and what is realistic. You leave with a written plan and clear pricing — never pressure to book on the day.

Pricing

The consultation fee is £50 and is redeemed against any treatment booked within three months. If we don't think a treatment is right for you, we'll say so.

Ready when you are

Every skin is different. The best next step is a one-to-one medical consultation with Giorgia — honest advice, a written plan, no pressure.
